Diets high in protein, particularly from fish, suggest a significant reduction in the risk of strokes, according to a study by the Nanjing University School of Medicine.
The research team found that the risk of stroke was reduced by 20% in the participants that had the highest level of protein in their diets compared to those with the lowest.
